A Hail Mary Prayer for Minnie This post is going out with a prayer into the universe begging one extraordinary human, one of Minnie's angels to see her, and say YES today. Minnie didn't choose the shelter life. She was found tied to a church gate, left alone at a place meant for hope and safety. The very spot where prayers are said is where she was abandoned by the person she once trusted. A rescue wants to help Minnie and believed they saved her with an adopter but that person vanished right before transport, leaving the rescue heartbroken and Minnie still behind the bars at the shelter. If the rescue does not find somebody today they will euthanize sweet Minnie for space . The shelter gave them a few more precious days but no new foster, no new adopter came forward in time. We only have to TODAY to get her tagged for a home . Minni's clock has run out. Without placement, she dies today. She will not live to see New Year's Day. She will not feel midnight kisses, or the warmth of a family cheering, or the promise of another sunrise. She will not make it to 2026. She is in a small pop-up cage, tucked in a loud, crowded, overwhelming hallway stressed, scared, waiting, wondering why her world got so small. And yet When she is let out of her cramped pop up cage a few mins a day to the playground, She shines, Her ears bounce, Her soul wakes up. She becomes the dog she was always meant to be sweet, smart, joyful, and full of love. Those ears alone could save her cute, silly, unforgettable. But it's her heart that will steal yours. Minnie is: House-trained Knows many commands Loves people Lives to play Shines like the diamond she is A gentle, good, sweet girl who deserves a chance She may be dog-selective, or she may just need a quiet place to decompress.
