About POGO
Meet Pogo- a 2-year-old, 21-lb dachshund mix with the bravest little heart and a spirit that refuses to quit. Pogo came to us after being run over by a car. Instead of receiving veterinary care, his injured paw was left untreated until it began to rot�'�| and tragically, someone in his community chopped it off with a hatchet. When Pogo arrived, he was terrified, wormy, and in pain - but still wagging, still trusting, still fighting. Here's the good news: Pogo can walk, run, and live a happy, pain-free life again with the help of a custom prosthetic foot, which he is currently being seen by a specialist for and will overcome his handicap with no issues!!
