(willing to drive up to REASONABLE DISTANCE ). 3 Y/O FEMALE GSD, AKC REGISTRATION PAPERS BUT NOT FILED (DOB:12/27/22 ). Her name is ' BELLA'. Background: has been with the same Shepherd Parent since weaned . UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids she knows, Stranger Fear/Aggression with kids she doesn't know. Needs Proper Introductions and plenty of time to warm up, acclimate and adjust to new kids. NOT Good with dogs. Good with cats, curious and chases tho. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: NO. SEPARATION ANXIETY + STRANGER FERA/AGGRESSION ENERGY LEVEL: MEDIUM. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: MEDIUM. Weighs 70 lbs. Currently on UNKNOWN food. Good with car rides?: YES. Socialized with: *people?: NO. *dogs?: NO. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): NO. She is very afraid of strangers. Triggered by men in hats. She needs Proper Introductions and plenty of time to warm up to realize there is no threat . She is very protective and territorial of her home and people. She does better with NEUTRAL ground than on her territory. She does great with her local kennel and kisses the owner. Loves: car rides - blankets - toys - cuddling - treats - laying out in the yard on a nice warm day - chilling on the couch - playing with kids that she knows - balls - fetch - sleeping in bed with her person - being near her person - chew toys - chew bones . *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): YES. *Good on a Leash?: NO. *Lovable?: YES. *Eager and fast learner?:YES. Bite History?: YES. The first time that the Current Shepherd Parent ever left Bella with a dog sitter to go on vacation, Bella bit the dog sitter when he let her out of her crate. She then ran outside and hid and refused to go back inside the house. She was terrified. The father-in-law then had to come help get Bella inside the home. Ever since then, she has lost Trust in the father-in-law and fears him now and has bit him a couple of times. All incidents were minor bites with NO reports or actions taken. These bites were out of FEAR and NOT straight out Aggression. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'She has the absolute sweetest demeanor if she trusts you. Fast learner, very loyal and protective.' Re Homing because�'�|: The Current Shepherd Parent's schedules have changed and they are no longer able to be home as much and this has increased Bella's Anxiety and has caused her to be extra protective and territorial. Bella needs a stable life with someone who has time for her and who is home a lot to ease her anxieties so that she can relax and thrive. Bella will be a great companion for the right person. Will thrive best�'�|?: in a loving home with someone who is home often to help ease Bella's Separation Anxieties. Preferably someone with NOT a lot of visitors coming and going because of her Stranger Fear / Aggression, someone experienced in this situation who can help socialize Bella in a safe manner to help ease her Stranger Fear. Preferably NO kids UNLESS you are confident that you can follow Proper Introduction Guidelines to prevent any incidents from occurring, NO other dogs. Comes with: collar, leash, harness, crate, AKC Registration Papers, bowls, food, toys, soft muzzle.
