Meet Remmy, - 4 years old - slender medium-sized Boxer & Lab/Husky mix - good with adults and children - house trained - good with other dogs and cats What Remmy wants most in the world is simple: love. Remmy is loyal and affectionate. She has the kind of eyes that have a pleading look that seem to ask, 'Is this where I finally belong?' She'll nuzzle her face into you, place a paw on you to make sure you don't forget she's there, and her favorite move of all is resting her chin on you and gazing up with pure devotion. Remmy loves to run. A yard where she can stretch her legs would be life-changing for her. She also adores big rope toys and squeaky stuffed animals. Once she gets her energy out, she transforms. She becomes calm and cuddly and loves to settle down on a soft blanket. Remmy's past: She spent much of her life confined, often shut in a kennel or bedroom without enough freedom to just be a dog. She has some separation anxiety and can seem clingy at first. She's just never had the security of knowing when someone would come back. If you like to feel needed and adored, Remy will be perfect for you! If left alone for a long time or confined, she may bark, whine, or chew up her toys. We believe with some routine and space to move, she will heal from this. She was put up for adoption because she was abandoned by her original owner and the second owners just couldn't give her the space and routine she needed.
