Lucy Loo is an upbeat, high-energy dog we rescued when a couple of young men dumpped her up the road from my house. She was about 6 months old at the time. She is about a year now. When my nephew and his girlfriend went up to investigate, the men told her they would put her down if someone didn't take her. We already have two dogs and numerous cats. But we took her in. My nephews girlfriend wanted to keep her, but she is in the kennel more than she is out and it isn't fair to her. She runs like the wind. She doesn't normally chase cars, but she took out after a neighbor's car and I swear she was running 35 mph. It was crazy fast. She also seems to have springs in her legs. As near as I can tell is all or part Austrailian Kelpie, although I don't know that for a fact. She needs to be with someone or some famly that can let her roam free in the house and let her run outside. She really is a sweatheart. I have an older American Buldog that doesn't tolerate her well, so that means we have to keep them separated. I am embarrased to say I have not had her to the vet because we just haven't had the money. We have cared and fed her and let her out a couple times a day. I think she would be perfect to train in obstacle course competition or just be a good farm dog/ herding dog.
