About Rex

This is Rex and he is a Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix. He weighs 45 pounds and was born 6/20/2022. Red is smart. He knows: sit, down, paw, and can even open doors. He is house trained and lets you know if he needs to go outside. Rex is good with people who give him a minute. He is fine with the dog groomer and has been good with two Rover dog sitters. He does have some herder nippiness so isn't good for homes with small kids. However, he does live with a kid now and enjoys playing with him. Red is good with other dogs, and lives with one now (a small dog who picks on him). He also was polite with other dogs at the Rover dog sitter's home, too. Plus, he is respectful of chickens and cockatiels. Rex loves to play, whether it's fetching tennis balls or playing with squeaky toys. He is good for adventures, too. He is good on leash and loves car rides. Rex is a fun guy who will ask to pal and also is happy to get you up to go for a morning walk. Maybe he loves the sunrise, too? He is an all weather guy who enjoys being out with his person doing things. He is smart, loyal, and affectionate with his person. Total best friend material. With his person, he loves belly rubs and gives kisses. He just needs a home that is a bit more active and doesn't have a small dog that picks on him. Rex is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Bonsall, in San Diego County, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
