Roxy is a dear, affectionate and happy dog who has been through a lot and is now ready to start the next phase of her life. She was brought into a shelter, severely malnourished with serious skin issues. Currently she is in a very loving foster home. Roxy has it all'|she is great with children, other dogs and even lives with a cat. She is smart and knows basic commands SIT, and LAY, and loves to learn. She is crate trained, although the crate is rarely needed since she ignores shoes, remotes or other items laying around. She recently stayed with a family who have children ages 7, 9, 11 and previously she has interacted well with a family's 3 year old. Roxy is great with other dogs. She lets them sniff and sets boundaries but LOVES to run and play. She likes to cruise the yard with a buddy and show them around. She's a true herder/shepherd. She loves bones and even collects them. She likes furry tough toys and squeaky tuff toys. Roxy is being treated for residual allergies from her previous malnourished state and takes probiotics and an allergy med daily. Her foster mom has nurtured Roxy, bringing her back to health, and now wants her to find a loving home where she will be adored and appreciated for the smart, endearing, devoted companion dog that she is.
