We found this dog on our property without a collar on the morning of Christmas Eve. She has clearly been somebody's pet and is the sweetest dog. We live out in the country and she has stayed close to the house. She seems to be a very mild mannered and well behaved dog. She walked with us on our land without a leash and stayed close and came when called. We have posted her on social media, but nobody has come forward. She will make some lucky person an awesome pet! UPDATE: I just took her in to get her scanned for a microchip and she has none. She did get a rabies shot. The vet estimated her to be around 4 years old, and they said that she was most likely a Pit Bull or Pitt Bull mix. She also was too interested in the cats that were there, so I would not recommend a home with cats or at least not any cat who is unaccustomed to dogs. When temperatures dropped into the teens, I brought her into the house and she is house trained.
