It doesn't seem to really know his name. I seen ad on craigslist. talk to the lady a little bit about the dog. Ultimately decided to take the dog. During pickup right when we were getting ready to leave, was told that the dog was in an abusive household before she had him. And she only had for 3 months. Ive only had for 1 week as of 12/28/2025 I guess kids were abusing him, just funny how I didn't come up before. Anyways, the dog is super skittish, does not like kids at all. It's very reserved about males. So far,dog seems to like females Only we'll put up with males. So far only let my son 43 yr old touch him twice for a few seconds after 1 week. Will jump on my leg and greet me when i come back home and let me touch only a few time so far. Does not like to be alone at all cant even walk out the room without the whining starting. Im on bloodthinners and can not have any chance of getting a bite by this dog. The lady that was getting rid of him did a very poor job on explaining this dog. Once we picked him up and was getting ready to leave. Let me know he will bolt if not on a leash and the door opens, He definitely seems to be warming up to me, but I cannot have a dog that only I can barely touch I'm a senior myself. Mainly cant have a dog my son cant contain, put on a leash, pet, just barely puts up with him, growls and barks at my roommates. Definitely needs a home with a female. That's the main caretaker, no kids at all. I wouldn't even let kids around this dog. For the first few days, the dog just basically shaking scared.
