About King

King is one of the most devoted dogs you will ever meet. He loves chew toys and will frequently bring them lovingly to you in the hopes of them being tossed. King lost one of his back legs as a puppy due to a fall from a deck in our backyard, but he has handled the loss like a champ and functions without any issue. His previous owner (my mother) passed away 3 years ago. Since her passing, my sister and I have taken on King's care and he has received behavioral training to help with socialization. He has a big bark, but quickly warms up to new friends and loves other dogs and cats. Ideally, he would benefit from having plenty of access to a safe backyard where he can roam. He loves being close to his family and you will often find him licking and kissing any person or animal within a 2 foot radius. We are rehoming him as my sister and I are not currently in a good housing or working situation to be able to provide him the home and support that he deserves.
