Tater Tot has been patiently waiting since February 2024, and for nearly two full years under Three Stooges Rescue, life has tested him in ways no dog should have to endure. He was displaced with his foster family due to Hurricane Helene, experienced a failed adoption, traveled back and forth across Florida from the west coast to the east coast, and was enrolled in multiple training programs - all while continuing to show the world what a good dog he truly is. Who Tater Tot is: Tate is a sweet, affectionate boy who is deeply devoted to his person. He is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and does wonderfully with other dogs. He currently lives peacefully with his three XL shepherd foster sisters and even shares well when food and toys are present. His foster mama has invested an extraordinary amount of time, patience, and personal resources into helping Tate become the best version of himself. Because of her, he knows love, trust, and stability - now he just needs someone willing to make that permanent. Tate's ideal home: An active adult home would be perfect for him. He would thrive with calm dog companions, but he would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog. Tater Tot is not broken. He is not difficult. He is not 'too much.'
