About Roscoe

Roscoe was given up by his owner. He was not treated very nice. The kids would chase him and kick him. The parents didn't care. To them he was just a dog and was not worth them taking the time to teach their children that he deserved to be respected and loved. Amazingly Roscoe never retaliated against the children. He never barked or tried to bite, he just tolerated it because that was what he was used to. Fortunately for him there were other children in the neighborhood that saw the way he was being treated. They went to their parents and told them about how Roscoe was being treated. The parents went to talk with Roscoe's owners who informed them that they had no attachment to the dog and didn't care how the children treated him. So they asked if they could take him and find a loving home for him. The owners said they didn't care. They didn't want him anyway. In their mind he just cost them money for the cheapest dog food they could find. It amazes me what a beautiful spirit Roscoe has. With all he has been through he still loves everyone he meets. He is truly an amazing creature. He truly deserves to find a home where he will be treated with love and kindness!
