ROCKY BARKBOA - JUST A PUPPY, IN GRAVE DANGER �'۬EUTHANASIA COMMAND ISSUED NO TIME LEFT My name is Rocky Barkboa, but I'm just a baby.�'۬Only 7 months old. 49 lbs. A medium mixed-breed puppy with a black-brindle coat and little white socks.�'۬My human loved me, but lost their home. They didn't want to let me go�'�| but they had no choice.�'۬And now, my life is at risk at a kill shelter. �'۬Not because I did anything wrong.�'۬Not because I'm dangerous.�'۬But because I'm too much puppy for a place with no room and dont get much exercise . I came in hopeful. Wiggly. Sweet. Tail spinning like a tiny propeller.�'۬I leaned into handlers for pets. I took treats gently. I tried so hard to be good.�'۬I still do. Even when the world around me is loud, chaotic, and terrifying.�'۬I wag for every person who passes, praying someone sees me past the fear in the kennel beside me. The shelter calls me New Hope Only now-not because I'm hopeless,�'۬but because I need decompression, stability, patience, training, routine�'�| and a human who has some compassion . �'۬Someone who understands that puppies chew, jump, get anxious, and need guidance,�'۬not punishment. Only kindness. Only consistency. Only love. A volunteer who met me said it best:�'۬'They understated the case�'�| we are all MAD about this playful puppy!'�'۬And it's true. I adore humans. �'۬I love treats, toys, learning sit/stay, street walks, and soft pets.�'۬I'm a puppy who wants to play with everyone, but I need a person who can be home most of the time.�'۬Someone who won't give up when I get mouthy with a treat, squirmy when feet are touched,�'۬or nervous when I'm overwhelmed. I'm not asking for perfection.�'۬I'm asking for a chance to grow up.�'۬A chance to heal.�'۬A chance to LIVE. No children under 13 recommended due to my enthusiasm so I can learn without leash stress.�'۬No dog parks until I'm settled and supported in a controlled, calm way.�'۬I just need one angel to say: 'I'll foster him.'�'۬or�'۬'I'll adopt him.'
