About Delilah

I love this baby. She is 3 years and 2-3 months old. Loving, sweet, great to snuggle with. Problem is, we have 3 other dogs and 3 cats. This was never a problem until after Delilah got to be 2 years old. She fights terribly with Jade, my 8-year-old hound mix. No blood is drawn, but it is so scary and it ends up with Jade climbing on top of her and holding her neck but not biting. I have contacted several trainers and a behavioral expert. I separate them during feeding time. I bring Delilah into my room after each crisis to calm and relax, but I feel very bad for her. I love her so much. When they are outside they play well together and when they actually enter the house together there is no fight. We took down all the gates in the house and that helped, but they still fight if they are in the hallway together. My other dogs, a Belgian Malinois and a chihuahua mix don't usually get involved, but the BM seems to try to help break up their fights.I ewant so much to keep her, but I think she would do better in a quieter, less challenging home. I won't give her up easily and I will require a background check.
