Meet Poppy: The Chore & Cuddle Companion She is the definition of 'extremely sweet.' Whether she's curling up at home or hitting the trails, her temperament is rock solid. She is a social butterfly who would love a home with another dog to play with, and she has already proven to be cat-friendly. Because she is still young and displays enthusiastic 'mouthy' play when excited, she would do best in a home with children aged 7 and up or kids use to this. This girl was born for chore�%A0work being your outdoor partner and/or if�%A0you are hiker/walker.�%A0She has not shown any interest in livestock. She has impeccable natural recall; during hikes, she stays right by her human's side. Even when her leash is dropped, she never wanders more than 10 feet before stopping to check in. We've noticed her striking a beautiful 'point' whenever she hears a bird, leading us to believe she has some�%A0Brittany Spaniel�%A0or bird dog heritage in her DNA.�%A0 She is highly trainable and currently working on her basic manners. She is a fast learner who thrives on direction and positive reinforcement. If you are looking for a dog that is as smart as she is affectionate, she is the one for you. We can provide more photos.
