Honey is a sweet 5-week-old Red Nose Pit Bull/American Bully mix with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She was surrendered to the rescue alongside her sister after an accidental breeding. Sadly, their siblings were given away far too young and without proper screening, but thanks to a quick-thinking rescue board member who happened to be in the right place at the right time, Honey and her sister were saved and brought safely under ROOT. Pitties often get a bad reputation through no fault of their own, and we are proud to give these innocent little lives the protection and love they deserve. Honey is not yet old enough to be adopted, but we are now accepting applications so she can transition directly into her forever home when she's ready in a couple of weeks. She is currently thriving in foster care, where she believes her foster mom is her mom-following her everywhere, curling up close after meals, and drifting off to sleep with a full milk belly. Honey is active, playful, alert, and adorably clingy. She loves being near her people and brings nonstop joy to everyone around her (and yes, she has the absolute best puppy breath!). Puppies are undeniably cute, but they are also a lifetime commitment. If you're ready to welcome a loving, loyal new family member and give Honey the future she deserves, she may be your girl. Honey is safe, loved, and growing strong under ROOT Rescue. For inquiries or to apply, please reach out to [email protected]
