About Peanut

Peanut is a tiny but mighty 4-lb male Chorkie mix (about 95% Chihuahua) with a big personality packed into a little body! This spunky, funny boy was surrendered to the rescue after being gifted to a young child who unfortunately turned out to be allergic. It was absolutely no fault of Peanut's, and now he's safe with us while we help him find the loving forever home he deserves. Peanut is just 7 weeks old and already full of confidence, curiosity, and charm. Peanut does great with both dogs and cats and truly believes he's a lap dog-because he is! He loves toys, enjoys being involved in everything you do, and happily tags along wherever life takes you. Small enough to fit in any sized tote, Peanut is always ready for outdoor adventures or cozy cuddle time. He has a lot of spirit and wants to take on the world, one tiny step at a time. Peanut is still working on potty training, but with consistency, patience, and structure, he'll continue to improve. He would make a wonderful addition to a family with kids, a couple, or someone living alone who's looking for a devoted companion. Adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment, and Peanut is ready to bring a lifetime of love, laughter, and joy.
