I'm reaching out because I'm heartbroken, but I need help with Teddy. I love him so much, and this is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. He deserves so much patience, stability, and the medical care his little body needs. Teddy came to me after being rescued from a shelter, and the person who pulled him believed he had lived his whole life chained outside. He may have an autoimmune disorder, and he struggles with recurring ear infections and painful, inflamed paw pads. He needs daily medication. Even with all of that, he is the sweetest, most loving dog. He listens, he plays, he adores toys and especially balls. He's wonderful with kids and gets along great with other dogs. But he also has frequent accidents in the house, and I don't know if it's from his medication or something deeper. I've tried so hard, but I can't give him everything he needs. My heart breaks admitting that. I want Teddy to have a home where his medical needs can be met and where someone has the patience and time he deserves. I only want what's best for him, even though this decision hurts. Please help me find a safe place for him.
