Hello, my name is Mazin and I live in Al Khobar. I really need help. I have a male cat who is very sweet, loving, and friendly, but he has a litter box problem (he sometimes poops outside the box). I rescued him 4 months ago; he stayed with me for 3 months, and during the last month my other 3 cats became very sick so they must remain isolated. I have been keeping him in a separate room to protect him, but I feel extremely guilty because he deserves more attention and emotional care than I am able to give right now. I want to be clear that I never had an issue cleaning after him and I truly didn't mind it because he is such a kind and affectionate cat. I genuinely don't have the heart to abandon him. I have already tried rehoming him, but unfortunately three adopters returned him because of the litter issue. However, I am currently training him using proper litter-training methods (large open boxes, clean environment, stress-free quiet area, positive reinforcement, and vet-recommended behavioral steps). He has already shown improvement, and the training is working, but it's still in progress and needs stability and patience.
