Courtesy Posting: URGENT AT NOVATO, CA (JUST North OF SF IN N CAL) - ID #307805-'LADY' AT MARIN HUMANE- ADOPTABLE and BEAUTIFUL RARE BLUE FEMALE CHOW - NEEDS LOVING FOREVER HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE- DOG FRIENDLY, MAY BE OKAY WITH CATS Please help us find a responsible and forever home or foster for dear 'LADY', ideally who is chow savvy. Lady was sadly found as a stray so we do not know her background. The shelter estimates she is only 3 years old and weighs approximately 40 lbs. Lady is described as 'a gentle soul seeking a forever home. Despite her initial shyness, Lady is incredibly smart, slowly warming up to new faces with a sweet disposition. She enjoys the company of other dogs. Lady's independent spirit makes her a wonderful companion for those who appreciate a calm and loving friend by their side. Adopting Lady means gaining a devoted and thoughtful companion who will enrich your life with loyalty and tranquility.' A volunteer also provided us several videos around a cat, as well as being pet under the chin. They added, 'I was able to take a video of her at the cat cage. We also walked her past the cat window and outside near a feral cat and she showed little interest. She was good walking with Felix (a male chow) but I unfortunately don't have a video of that. She is scheduled to be spayed on 12/30 but it may be possible to move that date up. She is sweet and will lick your hand.'
