Bilbo is the most loving and gentle dog you'll meet. The only things he truly wants are boxes to rip up and laps to curl into for cuddles. He has never bitten or nipped a person or another dog. He is very timid and has never shown any signs of aggression or resource guarding. After dealing with a UTI over the past month, Bilbo began showing some separation anxiety when I leave the house. This is something he had not struggled with since he was a puppy, after consistent daily training helped him grow into a confident dog. Now, when I leave, he may whimper briefly or push at his play pen, but he settles down on his own shortly after. Due to managing my chronic OCD and depression, I'm unable to provide the consistent reassurance and structure he needs right now to fully ease this anxiety. I want what is best for Bilbo, and I believe he would thrive in a home where someone has the time and availability to support him through this phase with patience and care.
