About April

April is the sweetest most loving dog! She is very intelligent and knows many commands. She is great with other dogs and children. She is okay with cats, but she does need to be told 'no' or 'leave it' when around them and should not be left unattended with cats. She will be 3 years old in April 2026. April does have some anxiety issues, and should not be left alone for longer than 3-4 hours. She was evaluated by a local dog trainer that sees tons of potential in April and believes that her anxiety driven tendencies could easily be corrected with consistent training. But our family is unable to afford the expenses for a trainer. I am also experiencing some health concerns while also raising 4 children and I am finding myself unable to provide April with the time, care, and training she truly needs.
