Hank is a fun, sweet, loving, and playful two-year-old, 60-pound male pit bull terrier-mix with hazel eyes looking for a loving guardian. Hank's human recently passed away and he's looking for a new family. He loves going for walks and loves to learn! He knows the commands sit and paw and is ready for more training! He is housebroken, crate-trained and well behaved in the home. While he usually gets along with dogs outside the home, he's best as the only dog in the home due to his jealousy, and due to his prey drive, absolutely no cats. Hank is healthy, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis and bordetella vaccines, heartworm and lyme-tested negative, microchipped, and de-wormed. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly foster or adopt Hank, fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ Once you've completed the application, follow up at [email protected] to meet him. He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
