About Maple

Meet Maple! Maple is a gorgeous 3-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as sweet as her name. She may be shy and reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving personality shines. Size: 54lbs, she needs to gain some weight and we feel she should be about 60lbs. Great with: Kids, Other dogs, and Cats. She seems to bond more easily with women, but with patience and kindness she'll warm up to anyone who earns her trust. Training: house, leash, and crate trained. Maple already knows sit, lay down (especially if snacks are involved!), and paw. She also does well on car rides. Reason for rescue: came to us as an owner surrender due to life changes, no fault of her own. Maple has a docked tail, it appears to have been a poor docking job, but it doesn't bother her. She had some minor hair loss across her back from fleas, but she has been treated and it is growing back in nicely. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee: $350.
