About Hank

He recently lost the only home he's ever known when his devoted owner had to move into assisted living and, heartbreakingly, could not take him with her. Saying goodbye to Hank was incredibly difficult, and he has been deeply loved his entire life. Hank is well-mannered, loyal, and thrives on companionship. Like many Schnauzers, he's intelligent, alert, and enjoys being close to his people. He would do best in a home where he can be a true family member-whether that's curling up beside you or happily following you from room to room. Because of how much he meant to his previous owner, we promised her we would find Hank the very best home-one where he will be cherished, safe, and loved for the rest of his life. Hank may be adjusting to a big change, but with patience and kindness, he will make an incredibly devoted companion. As an adoption fee-based rescue, we do not operate on monthly support. Our adoption fee of $350 covers transport, which is arranged post-adoption, and is tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
