About Clyde

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Clyde is a sweetheart of a dog with a bright smile and the kind of warm, gentle energy that makes him instantly lovable. This 1.5 year old Border Collie / Lab mix weighs 39 pounds and has a soft face and brown eyes that could melt anyone's heart. He is easygoing, friendly, and still has a fun bit of puppy energy that keeps life interesting. Clyde is learning the basics and understands Sit, and he is doing well with house training after only one accident in nearly two weeks. He is not a fan of the crate yet and will need continued positive training to build confidence in crate training. He loves going on walks, greeting other dogs, and getting pets from anyone willing to offer them. He can be bouncy when excited, but he is smart and eager to learn with the right guidance. This sweet boy does wonderfully with older kids, other dogs, and new people. He has not met cats yet. Clyde walks with some enthusiasm and light pulling, and he does get car sick, so shorter or slower introductions to car rides may help him adjust over time. Clyde would be a great match for a home with a yard, space to stretch out, and an active person or family who enjoys daily walks or hiking adventures.
