He currently lives in the house and can be left alone for several hours without incident of any kind, but he will be very glad to see you when you get home. He likes to hunt birds and work fairly close, seldom more than a hundred yards out. He has an excellent nose and knows how to use it. He is a strong swimmer and cold water doesn't bother him at all. A real asset in the duck blind. He travels well in cars and trucks and loves riding in a boat.
