Rehoming 1-Year-Old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix We are looking to responsibly rehome our one-year-old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix due to safety concerns with children. He is NOT suitable for a home with kids, which is the sole reason for this difficult decision. He is currently intact, with a neuter scheduled for January 16th, 2026. He has been professionally trained since 5 months of age, including obedience and behavior work, through Sit Mean Sit in Longwood, Florida, using positive e-collar training. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and obedience trained. He is a highly intelligent, driven dog who would do best in a kid-free home with an experienced handler. He does exhibit boundary aggression and resource guarding, and because of this, he is muzzle conditioned. He thrives with structure, consistency, and continued training. Given his genetics, we believe he would excel in an environment where he can work and stay mentally engaged, such as a home with herding opportunities, farm life, or an active working or sport- focused household. We are seeking a loving, committed home that understands working breeds and is willing to continue his training and provide clear leadership. Our priority is finding the right-fit -not rushing placement. Please reach out if you feel you could offer the experienced, kid-free home he needs.
