About Edgar

Edgar came to us a small thing along with his brother- Heath. Its taken some time for them to trust us- but Edgar has come a long way. He no longer runs away when he sees a human, and has actually lumped himself on the ground and showed his belly. We worry that Edgar will be overlooked because of his more exotic looking brother, Heath. We really do believe that they will do better together- and will not be as scared and adapt more easily if they are in an new environment together. They were found huddled and alone- all they know is each other :). If you want a duo that that will learn to love you twice as much- this is your sign! Please be patient - In a world that constantly asks them to accept what is no matter what or how it happened- they do not show any hate or aggression- only a small amount of fear that we know can go away within time and with the right person or family. They respond very well to classical and soothing music for cats. Having it play while they are in your household will help tremendously. Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter.
