About Albert has till 12/26

Albert has now been placed on the Euthanasia Alert!!! He will be killed on 12/27!!! Pets on this list have been observed and alerted to the public as those not coping well in the shelter environment. We cannot continue housing these pets in our shelters due to safety concerns or concerns over their deteriorating emotional and physical well-being. Pets appearing on the Euthanasia Alert will be euthanized on the listed date if no other options are available. Albert was turned in as a 'stray' at the North Central facility on November 7, 2025. A microchip was detected but his owners failed to claim him. He's approximately 8 years old weighs 53 pounds and is neutered. Albert needs to exit the shelter system now. He's exhibiting high fear, anxiety and stress (FAS). His behavior is declining. The shelter environment is negatively affecting his mental well being. He's barking excessively, constantly moving in and out of his cubby, he's anxious and stressed out. It's also difficult to exercise him outside the cage with other dogs.
