Gus is an amazing dog who has a history of being badly abused in his past. He does his best to overcome this by being very attached to his family. He is good with anything as long as you're there, but doesn't do well at all in a crate so he would need another solution when you're not there. The issues that need to be considered when adopting Gus would be that he has a history of being very protective over children in the household. In his home before he was with me, he had bitten a parent trying to protect the children in the home. Also, at first Gus done very well with my cats but the past several months he has changed and is now trying to attack them so I'm having to keep him at work (I work at a clinic) because there's no way for me to keep him separate at my house. He can be very selective with dogs and people as well. He is house trained and knows sit, down, and paw, but needs to be on a leash whenever you're outside. He loves to go on walks and explore though! Gus is neutered and is completely up to date on vaccines. To date, there aren't any known medical conditions or dietary needs.
