About Chickie

Chickie is a 2-year-old beagle mix weighing 37 pounds. She came to us from one of our shelter partners after her original owner sadly passed away. Despite this big change, Chickie has adjusted well and continues to show a happy, loving spirit. She is currently in foster care in Bucks County, where she's been living in a home environment and is house-trained. Chickie enjoys spending time outside, playing in the yard, and going for walks with her person. As a young beagle, Chickie would benefit from continued training and a consistent routine. She would do best with an experienced dog owner, or a first-time adopter who is willing to work with a trainer. She could use some additional leash training and will thrive with structure, patience, and stability. With the right guidance and a predictable routine, Chickie has so much potential to be a wonderful companion. She's ready to settle into a loving home where she can continue to grow and feel secure.
