Chase is very serious about his snuggles. In the bed, on the couch, on the floor. Wherever you are is where he wants to be. Chase came to us skin and bones. He only weighed 40 lbs and had possible hit by a car where his bk leg was broken and did not hear correctly. Unfortunately when we took him to see about resetting we got the bad news. The placement of the break being so close to the knee caused it to fuse the leg straight out. The good news is that he still uses it to balance and can get out and zoomie with the rest of his foster siblings. Because of this, no amputation is recommended. Chase needs to go to a special home with no to minimal stairs. His leg is fused straight out making him a trip hazard for children and elderly. Chase is also heartworm positive. He was treated for his heartworms but will continue to test positive until they al die out. Heartworm prevention, on time every month is imperative to his wellbeing.
