About Zeus

Behavior Around Other Dogs: Zeus has shown that he does not share bones or Nylabones at all. He becomes very aggressive with my other dogs when these items are present. For everyone's safety, I have only been able to give these types of toys if the dogs are separated from him. Because of this, I strongly believe that Zeus needs to go to a home with no other dogs. I am concerned that there is a significant risk of him either hurting another dog or being hurt himself in a situation where high-value items are involved. Suitability with Children: I do not think Zeus should be placed in a home with small children. He does enjoy the company of my older grandchildren and loves to cuddle with them, but I feel it's safest for him to not be adopted into a family with young children. He is fully potty trained and has not had any accidents since he's been with me. He is a very active dog and absolutely loves running and playing with his rope toy in the fenced yard. When he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's a big cuddle bug and enjoys laying in bed with my older grandchildren. Summary of an ideal home for Zeus: �'ۢ He should not be in a home with other dogs. �'ۢ He should not go to a home with small children. �'ۢ He would do well in a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can play safely. �'ۢ He thrives on affection and would make a great companion for someone who can provide him with both activity and cuddle time. He must also be neutered when he reaches a year to a year and a half old. I will require that a contract is in place to make sure this happens because of the overpopulation of animals.
