She's the ultimate cuddle companion - gentle, affectionate, and the perfect couch potato (she even looks like one, right down to her warm, golden 'potato' coloring). She will go for a longer walk if you want to walk with the cooler weather. Bella has had a rough start in life. She was bred, then sadly dumped at the SPCA when her family moved and her brother was put down immediately. Thankfully, Bella was given another chance, and she's now spayed, safe, and ready to find a forever family who will show her what love really means. Bella would do well as the only dog in a home or with the right sibling. She's flexible, but I think she would thrive in a calmer environment. She gets a little nervous when there's a lot of noise, so a peaceful home would suit her best. She'd especially thrive with an active person or couple if they are looking for a calm, loving companion. She's a little shy at first. But once she warms up, you'll see her sweet, gentle personality shine through. Bella absolutely adores women and will quickly become your loyal shadow. Her favorite activities include short, slow walks (one block in the morning and one at night- she walks great on a leash) and curling up next to you on the couch. She loves morning belly rubs, morning and bedtime snacks. She's still learning how to 'be a dog,' so a patient and loving owner who can help her feel safe and maybe even teach her how to play would be perfect for her.
