About Spur

Meet Spur. He is an 11 year Aussie. Do not let his age fool you, he is very spunky for his age. Spur has had a rough few months. Spur's history is a little unknown but from what we know, he was a service dog and his owner passed away. A neighbor took him but was not able to take care of him so she was going to take him to the pound. A friend of mine has taken him in to foster him. What we know about Spur. He is heartworm positive but has started Simparica for slow kill treatment. His other bloodwork was normal. With him being heartworm positive, he is not neutered. He loves everyone, kids, dogs and cats. He really loves a comfortable couch. Spur would do best with a fenced in yard. He really loves to just hang out outside on the porch. He also would love for an active family or someone that really likes to throw the frisbee or ball. He would do great in a family with other dogs/cats but could also be an only dog. Spur does know how to open lever style doorhandles so be mindful of this. He is housetrained and does great walking on a leash.
