Without a committed foster or adopter, she will not be able to make the trip. Nala's story is one of second chances and quiet resilience. This girl came to the shelter through no fault of her own when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Despite the upheaval, Nala has remained loving, social, and eager to connect with both people and other dogs. Nala is a confident, friendly, and affectionate dog with a wonderful balance of energy and manners. She comes out ready to play and have fun, but she reads other dogs well and adjusts her energy to match her playmates. Because of her excellent social skills, she now helps evaluate new dogs' temperaments at the shelter. She is gentle when taking treats, keeps a clean kennel, and truly enjoys human affection, happily leaning in for pets and cuddles. Her leash manners are improving every day. She may be a bit excited when first leaving the kennel, but she settles quickly and walks very nicely once she's moving. Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys activity, playtime, and plenty of bonding time, followed by relaxing snuggles.
