My name is Jack. I'm one year old and I weigh 59lbs. I am heart worm negative, have all my vaccines and I've been neutered. I came to the shelter 55 days ago after being left behind in my house when my owners moved. I was so scared, hungry and lonely. I didn't do anything wrong and I waited for my dad to come back but he didn't. I heard the nice officer mention that he will be going to jail but that means I have no family anymore. The shelter volunteers describe me as a baby trapped in a big dog's body because I am always happy. I am full of playful energy but I'm not too hyper. I also love every dog i meet. I so adore people and pups! I am house trained and I love to take walks. I don't know why my favorite shelter lady was crying the other day - she was praying for a Christmas miracle so the good dogs like me will find new families and not be euthanized. I don't know what that means but I praying for my new family too. Maybe some children to play ball with me - maybe it'll be a home that wants cuddles and unconditional love. I can't wait to have a warm bed, not feel hungry or frightened. I promise I'm a good boy. I hope to leave this crazy, loud and really sad place soon. I'm still a baby and hope the rest of life will be spent with special humans who are kind to me. I cry myself to sleep because I'm alone. Won't you open your heart and home to me. I love you already. Oh and I don't mind cats! My rescuer said you can text her 201-206-3007 to make sure she doesn't miss any potential families that may want to meet me.
