Flapjack is a delightful dog, approximately 3 years old, and weighing in at a healthy 58 pounds. He has been neutered and is up to date with all his vaccinations, ensuring he is well taken care of. Additionally, Flapjack is heartworm negative and is currently undergoing treatment for Lyme disease, showing his resilience and strength. As a former stray, Flapjack's history remains a mystery, but what's evident is his affectionate and loving nature. He thrives on companionship, eagerly accepting any treats offered and relishing long, leisurely walks where he can explore the world around him. Since arriving at the shelter, Flapjack has adapted remarkably well to his new environment. He walks gracefully on a leash, showcasing his good manners, and he has mastered the 'sit' command, demonstrating his willingness to learn. Although Flapjack hasn't had the chance to engage in playtime with other dogs yet, he exhibits a curious and friendly demeanor towards them, suggesting that he is eager to make new furry friends and socialize. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please.
