Without a committed foster or adopter, she will not be able to make the trip. Abigail's story is one of survival, resilience, and hope. This 7-month-old black shepherd mix has already been through more than most dogs should. After a tragic incident involving a rabies-positive cat, Abigail faced euthanasia. Instead, she was given a chance at life and spent four long months in strict quarantine isolation, separated from the world so she could survive. Now, Abigail is almost free and ready to start her life. She is young, athletic, and full of high puppy energy, eager to explore, learn, and experience the world she's been kept from. Despite her isolation, Abigail remains curious, enthusiastic, and ready to bond with a family who will help her grow. Abigail will need patience, structure, and positive training as she learns normal puppy manners. She will thrive in an active home that can provide exercise, enrichment, and consistency, and that understands her energy is joy, not trouble.
