Without a committed foster or adopter, he will not be able to make the trip. Leland's story is one of resilience and second chances. This 6-month-old shepherd mix came into a Georgia kill shelter as a stray, not feeling his best and down on his luck. With medical care, good food, and kindness, he has made an incredible turnaround and is now ready for a fresh start filled with love and stability. Despite his tough beginning, Leland is a happy-go-lucky, cheerful puppy with a curious spirit and an always-wagging tail. He is playful, affectionate, and eager to soak up everything good life has to offer. While he is still very much a puppy and will need training, patience, and structure, his sweet nature shines through in everything he does. Leland does have a sensitive tummy, so he will do best with a consistent, gentle diet and a family willing to keep him on a steady routine. He is still learning about the world, but he is full of heart and potential and ready to grow into a wonderful companion.
