About Charlie

Charlie is da sweetest baby bulldog! This adorable, 35 lbs, 1 year old, Shorty bull (aka Frenchie, English, and staffie mix) is the full package. He's very friendly with strangers, loves to play with dogs of all sizes but is respectful of those that would rather he not be near them, and is perfection in his crate. In fact, that's where he prefers to sleep even when his foster mom offered him a spot on the bed. Charlie came to MHCR from Houston, Tx where he was turned in as a stray. As a young man, someone cut of his ears, ignored his itchy skin and ears, and turned him loose on the streets. For some dogs, this is a death sentence. For Charlie, it saved his life. Since coming to CO, Charlie's itchy skin has cleared up and his fur is growing back in beautifully. His ears are also healing nicely.
