About Izzy

Izzy is a rescue I have had for about a year. She is very sweet but should really be the only dog in the house. She is possessive but not aggressive. She has severe storm anxiety that she must be medicated for. A thunder shirt or crate will not help her with this. She really is an amazing little dog and will be a lovely addition to a home that can give her the focus and training that she needs. I have two other dogs and 3 cats, so I just can't seem to provide what she needs. I feel like it is more important to be honest than write a false description. She is pad trained and will go to the bathroom sometimes outside. She takes to women more than men, but with time she did warm up to my husband. She is also crate trained and that should be continued as she really needs that safe space. This is a dog that needs some work. Whatever happened to her before I adopted her was pretty severe so she needs more patience than I can offer. She just needs to find a very patient caring home.
