She must be adopted or rescued from the South Los Angeles Shelter by 4 PM Sunday 12/21/25. Leona is a spayed female about 5 yrs old and weighs 56lbs. She arrived at the shelter on 11/5/25 as a Possible Owner (she had a chip), but was never redeemed. Though Leona has been sick and confined to an inside kennel for most of her shelter stay, she has been out to playgroup twice. She has a gentle and dainty play style , was tolerant and appropriate with other dogs, affiliative, with people, gave appropriate corrections, and is described as having a softer temperament. As you can see in the videos, she's quite loving and sweet. MEDICAL ALERT: Chronic skin infection, URI not responding to treatment in the shelter.
