About Mookeu

I can't figure out why he's been overlooked. He's engaged, fun, goofy, friendly and so young- even in his kennel his exuberant spirit is heart melting. But because the shelter has so many dogs, Mookeu's number is up, alerted to create empty kennel space. That's it! On top of that, he caught that URI bug at the end of November. He was stuck in his kennel until we got to interact again this past weekend, and Mookeu's smile is as infectious as ever. He's not medically cleared, but looking better, minimal symptoms. He's so resilient. He was caught as a stray in September, with a catchpole that led to him biting the pole and being injured. But this sweet boy didn't hold a grudge- he's been great with interactions with staff and volunteers. When bathed by the groomer, it went well, and Mookeu was a playful, good listener. Playgroup notes describe him as social, selective, a rowdy player, steerable, and some sexually motivated mounting (not yet neutered). He can be obnoxious at times. He started out with a muzzle due to gate greeting, but not needed anymore. Mookeu is such a good boy, he is available for adoption, shelter foster, or rescue.
