About Theo

Theo is an 8-9 month old miniature Goldendoodle with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. He currently weighs about 14 lbs and is nearly fully grown, so he won't get much bigger-just fluffier! Theo was rescued from a hoarding situation along with his two siblings and had to be shaved down due to severe matting. With time, care, and lots of love, his beautiful coat continues to grow back fuller and healthier. Theo is an absolute cuddle bug and will happily roll right over for belly rubs any chance he gets. He's a big attention seeker who loves being close to his people and involved in daily life. Theo is still learning what it means to be a 'normal' dog, but thanks to the patience and dedication of his foster, he has made wonderful progress and continues to blossom every day. Theo does great with people of all ages and absolutely loves attention from children. He also enjoys car rides and takes his 'car patrol' duties seriously, staying alert and curious during trips. Theo has recently been neutered, and his potty training has continued to improve, with marking behaviors significantly reduced. He will benefit from continued structure, routine, and consistency to help him thrive. Because of his need for focused guidance and dedicated time, Theo would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can receive all the attention and structure he needs to succeed. Theo is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and fully vet-checked. Theo is looking for a foster-to-adopt home or a committed adopter who can provide the love, reassurance, and companionship he craves.
