He is attentive and seeks reassurance from his handler. He walks on a leash and listens to his name, though he may pull at times and benefit from continued leash training. He takes treats gently and is treat-motivated, which will be helpful for ongoing training. He shows assertive behavior at the fence with other dogs. In the foster home Pedro chased cats but exhibited good recall. He may be his most happiest self not sharing his people with other pets. Pedro is listed in the 2-6 year age range and weighs 53 lbs. He will do best in a home that offers patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement (he thrives on praise) to help him continue gaining confidence.
