Marty is an affectionate 1-year-old boy who weighs 86 pounds. He is bursting with energy and personality, often displaying a silly and spunky demeanor that brings joy to those around him. Fully up to date on his vaccinations, Marty has been neutered and microchipped, and he has also tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease, ensuring he is healthy and ready for a new home. When it comes to walks, Marty generally behaves well on a leash, making the experience enjoyable for both him and his handler. He is currently honing his skills with basic commands, particularly the 'sit' command, showcasing his eagerness to learn. One of Marty's favorite things is to snuggle close, often leaning against you for extra love and comfort, making him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a cuddle buddy. Marty has a playful spirit; he loves treats and toys and is always ready for some fun. However, given his size and playful energy, he can be a bit of a 'bull in a china shop'-unaware of how big he is, with his wagging tail often knocking things over. Because of this, he would thrive best in a family with older children who can appreciate his exuberance and help him navigate his surroundings. Marty shows curiosity around other dogs, though he hasn't yet had the opportunity to engage in play with them. His friendly disposition suggests he could potentially enjoy the company of other canine companions once he has a chance to interact with them. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old, and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. �%A0 Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. �%A0 Please talk to shelter staff for more information.�%A0 We only accept cash.
