Paprika is a striking three-month-old domestic medium hair with a beautiful brown and orange torbi coat and a personality to match. She is independent and confident, yet always wants to be right in the middle of whatever is happening. Paprika is very active and has a strong prey drive, happily chasing anything that moves and leaping impressively high to catch feather wand toys. Once she's caught her 'prey,' she proudly carries it around and guards it as her prized possession, which is both amusing and very much part of her bold character. Despite her independent nature, Paprika has a sweet side and enjoys sitting in a lap for pets and attention, though she prefers not to be picked up. She is curious about everything around her and loves investigating anything new or different. She did well meeting visitors and allowed them to pet her, showing a friendly and social side with people. Paprika can be possessive with toys, treats, and attention and may need slow, patient introductions to other cats. She would likely do best in a home without small toddlers due to her strong prey drive, but an active household with older, cat-savvy children or adults who enjoy an energetic, confident kitten would be a great match for her.
