Meet Monroe! Breed: standard poodle, she is on the smaller side. Age: est 2 years. Weight: est 37lbs. Training: crate & leash trained, doing well with housetraining in her foster home. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: a little shy at first and when in new situations. She is afraid of loud noises. She warms up to be friendly, playful, and affectionate. She hasn't had many life experiences and she will need a patient and understanding family as she adjusts to life as a companion. She would do best with another dog to show her the ropes! Reason for rescue: breeder retiring. She was adopted but they have a busy household. Monroe needs a fenced yard and another dog in her new home. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
